Gift Orban is een van de seizoensrevelaties in de Jupiler Pro League. De Nigeriaan landde deze winter in ons land, maar begon meteen aan een enorm tempo te scoren. Dat zorgt voorlopig nog niet voor het gewenste effect in thuisland Nigeria.
AA Gent haalde Orban in januari weg bij het Noorse Stabaek voor 3,3 miljoen euro. Sinds zijn komst gooide hij ogen. Zo scoorde hij maar liefst 20 keer in 22 duels en gaf hij ook nog eens 2 assists. Daarbij zaten onder meer een hattrick tegen Basaksehir in Europa en een vierklapper tegen Zulte Waregem in de Jupiler Pro League. Heel wat ploegen tonen door die prestaties interesse voor Orban, die volgens Transfermarkt al 20 miljoen euro waard is.

Am more satisfied with the defense role. I have nothing against Simone and Musa but one of them should have be drop for Orban(the boy doing very well in Belgium league) . And midfielders should have be more in numbers.

Why not boost Orban Gift, that’s what England are during. Look Saka, Jude, Foden and more, when they perform better in their club they decided to boost them so the world can see them. If Gift is added to that team you can see more differences.
