In de strijd om de derde plaats in de Premier League wist Tottenham Hotspur zaterdagmiddag een uitstekende zaak te doen. Op Wembley wonnen de Spurs immers van stadsgenoot Arsenal FC en springen daarvoor voorlopig over Liverpool en Chelsea. Met onder meer het winnende doelpunt was Harry Kane opnieuw de grote man bij de ploeg van Mauricio Pochettino.
Maar er liep nog meer uitblinkers rond aan Spurs-zijde. Moussa Dembélé bijvoorbeeld, speelde vooral in de tweede helft een erg goede partij. De Rode Duivel toonde zich ijzersterk in de recuperatie en droeg ook aanvallend meer dan zijn steentje bij. Op de sociale media wordt hij dan ook de hemel in geprezen.
