Na Thomas Meunier met PSG, sneuvelden woensdagavond nog drie Rode Duivels in de Champions League. Tottenham Hotspur gaf tegen Juventus immers alles uit handen en verloren met 3-4 over twee matchen van de Oude Dame. Een domper dus voor de geblesseerde Alderweireld en basisspelers Vertonghen en Dembélé.
Die laatste speelde weliswaar een meer dan degelijke partij, maar haalde lang niet het niveau dat hij in Turijn haalde. Om de sociale media kwam dan ook heel wat reactie op zijn prestatie. De voorbije weken werd Dembélé immers constant de hemel in geprezen, coach Mauricio Pochettino vergeleek hem zelfs met Maradona en Ronaldinho. Heel wat volgers vinden hem nu overhyped.
